Siargao Island, Philippines - Siargao Island is becoming popularly known in the International
Sport Anglers circle as one of the most unspoiled
destinations for the angling scene. The Island is situated
in the Southern part of the Philippines with only a 1-hour
boat ride out to the fishing grounds. Siargao is located on
the rim of the Philippine trench with a spectacular drop off
from 50-meters at the ridge all the way down to 1000+meters.
A popular area for fishing Sailfish, Marlin and Tuna. 100+kg
Tiger Shark have been caught in the region.
