We pool all the sport fishing resources of the Philippines in order to design a sport fishing package to suit your needs. We place emphasis on making sure our guests to have an exciting and pleasurable time, and hopefully a memorable experience for years to come.

I've never been on a fishing charter, what's a good way to start?

What will I need to bring along?
In most cases, absolutely nothing. Most of our fishing packages include many of the things you require to have a pleasurable charter.. Whether it be transportation to/from the wharf, bait, tackle, fishing guide, boatman and even snacks for the boat. Cebu Sport Fishing.
We do recommend you bring extra bottles of water or snacks should you want. In addition to that, it would be wise to bring sun block, sunglasses, hat, and a camera! We also include large coolers for your beverages and food.

How do I charter a fishing package?
Easy, just contact us by using our Request for Quote system or by e-mailing or calling us.

Can I bring alcohol on the boat?
We fishermen all enjoy a pint, or two, or three, or four...Although, to ensure safety of your voyage, alcohol is not permitted on our trips.

Do you offer charter's for large groups?
Absolutely! The more people that participate, the more fun!

Is it safe?
All boatmen have years of experience, in all kinds of weather conditions. We also have saftey jackets and never stray too far away from the shore. Also, our boatmen know a lot about weather and will call off a trip if there is any question about conditions. The safety record for fishing charters in this area is excellent. So, you can catch fish and relax knowing you're on a seaworthy, well equipped boat run by a professional - which is a real benefit of chartering with Cebu Sport Fishing.

Can I bring the kids?
Absolutely! If you'd like the kids to have a productive day and catch a lot of fish, let us know. We can hit some spots that produce a high yield of easy-to-catch fish to keep the attention of any children, and usually the adults too! On a full-day trip, we can start with the fun catch and move out farther to catch the big game fish, and some dinner. Kids love getting out on the water, seeing things like flying fish, dolphins and the occasional turtle.

What if the weather is bad, can we cancel?
If the weather is bad and your trip has to be cancelled, we will work with you to book a different day. We will try to contact you the night before your trip to let you know whether the trip will run or if there's a possibility that it may have to be canceled.

What can I expect to pay for a charter and what's included.

When do I pay for the charter?
In order to start the booking process, we ask for a 50% down-payment this way we can secure the boat, boatman, fishing guide, bait, and other services for your trip. Balance payment should be made before the schedule departure.

Will I catch any fish?
The chance of catching fish is great, but is never guaranteed. It is important you let us know what your goals are. You might want to mix in some "for sure" fishing for fun with some hunting for a harder to catch species. However you approach it, you can be sure that Cebu Sport Fishing will go all out to catch fish.
We know our business is based on providing the customer with a great fishing experience and there is a lot of pride involved. When we come in, everyone on the docks will know how we did. If we want to book other trips, we've got to impress those who refer us! While we're definitely trying find fish for you, there are other reasons we want to produce some nice fish.
